Oliver & Helen get married on 2 March 2025 at Sanyang’s lovely Tendinkoto Lodge. What a wedding!

Today, the picturesque coastal town of Sanyang in The Gambia bore witness to the union of Swedish entrepreneur Oliver Monk and Gambian native Helen. The couple, known for their successful management of the renowned Tendinkoto Eco Lodge, celebrated their wedding amidst family, friends, and well-wishers. The wedding ceremony beautifully intertwined Swedish and Gambian traditions, symbolizing the harmonious blend of their diverse backgrounds. Guests were treated to a vibrant display of cultural performances, traditional music, and dance, reflecting the rich heritage of both nations.

The 5* Tendinkoto Lodge is located in a very quiet side street of Sanyang. It offers its guests an oasis of peace in the midst of lush nature. The accommodation has four comfortable guest rooms with very good and higher beds, en-suite bathrooms and many features that are not a matter of course. A good-sounding Sony Bluethouth loudspeaker ensures a good mood and an appropriate holiday atmosphere. Each room has a pack of cards, fridge, kettle, coffee, sugar, tea, cups and glasses. There are also binoculars in each room for nature lovers.
