Neue Seekühlwasserregelung auf der Nor-Shipping

Colfax Fluid Handling, ein Geschäftsbereich der Colfax Corporation (NYSE: CFX), zeigt auf der Nor-Shipping (Stand C03-14) die neue Version seines Pumpensteuerungssystems CM-1000. CM-1000 regelt die Fördermenge der Seekühlwasserpumpen anhand der Frischwassertemperatur und des aktuellen Kühlbedarfs und spart so erheblich elektrische Energie. Neu sind einsatz- und einbaufertige Lösungen, die Übermittlung aller überwachten Parameter an Windows-PCs, der optionale Ausschluss der Stand-By-Pumpe, die vollständige Abschaltung der Pumpen und die Überwachung des Kühlsystemzustands.

CM-1000 ist darauf ausgerichtet, die Effizienz der schiffseigenen Pumpen zu maximieren und dabei die Lebensdauer der Pumpen deutlich zu erhöhen. Der Einsatz beim Seekühlwassersystem hat gezeigt, dass bis zu 85 Prozent der Betriebskosten und bis zu 50 Prozent der Wartungskosten der Seekühlwasserpumpen eingespart werden können. Auf der Nor-Shipping sind neben der exklusiven Ventilsteuerung sowohl neue Funktionen als auch neue Installationsmöglichkeiten zu sehen.

Neu ist die Weiterleitung (“Bridgeview”) aller überwachten Parameter des Kühlsystems und seiner Pumpen an einen PC. Damit lassen sich u. a. Trendanalysen von Temperatur und Motordaten erstellen und einsehen. Als neue Funktion kann optional die Stand-by-Pumpe in 3*50-Kühlsystemen aus der Überwachung und Regelung ausgenommen werden. Dies spart den Umrichter und die Verkabelung. Fällt eine der Arbeitspumpen aus, gibt CM-1000 Alarm und fährt die Stand-by-Pumpe hoch. Ebenfalls neu: Liegt das Schiff still oder macht nur langsame Fahrt in kalter Umgebung schaltet CM-1000 jetzt die Pumpen komplett ab (“All-Off”), was zu deutlicher Energieeinsparung führt. “Cooler Clogging Supervision” überwacht schließlich den Zustand der Kühler und unterstützt die Besatzung bei der Planung und Wartung des Kühlsystems.

Zusätzlich kann der Reeder bei der Installation jetzt zwischen zwei Varianten wählen: Zum einen der kompletten einsatzfähigen “Turn-Key”-Installation durch den Hersteller, der Allweiler GmbH. Abhängig vom Schiffsfahrplan dauert diese Komplettinstallation etwa eine Woche. Zum anderen liefert der Hersteller als “Cabinet Solution” komplette Schaltschränke mit Frequenzumrichtern. Diese Module sind einsatzfertig. Sie müssen nur auf dem Schiff verkabelt werden.
